Why are you organizing the Nations Cup?
Our tournament is specifically organized for amateur football enthusiasts. It provides a unique opportunity for sportspeople to experience the excitement and camaraderie of a soccer world cup in a friendly and inclusive environment. It also serves as a platform for Dutch and expats to come together, connect with fellow nationals, and build a vibrant community
Who can participate?
The Nations Cup tournament is open to all sportspeople, older than 18 years old, who have a passion for football. Our tournament is designed for amateur players in mind, many of whom have weekday work commitments. Tournaments are scheduled on weekends to accommodate busy schedules.
What is the 30% rule?
At least 30% of the team players shall hold the nationality of its nation/region and be subject to its jurisdiction (minimum 2 of the team players in a 5-a-side format).
Are men allowed?
NO. As a man you can participate in the men´s competition. If you are interested in a mixed competition, please let us know via our WhatsApp and/or the contact form.
What is included with the registration?
The registration includes: fields rent, experienced/certified referees and a trophy for the winning team. The results are registered in the website’s ‘hall of fame’. The Nations Cup also provides training bibs and one football per field, to be used during the matches, which will be returned after the tournament is finished.
