What a tournament it has been! The inaugural women’s football competition delivered excitement, passion, and some truly spectacular goals. With 14 goals scored and an electric atmosphere throughout, fans were treated to an unforgettable showcase of talent and teamwork.
Australia and the UK were the standout teams, each finishing with 9 points in the group stages. Their thrilling performances led them to the final rounds, where their impressive form continued. Australia, in particular, soared from strength to strength, winning every match in the second phase and proving their mettle as a top contender. The UK matched their intensity, making it clear they were a force to be reckoned with.
Spain claimed second place, showing strong play throughout the tournament, while Brazil, despite a slower start, emerged as a dominant force in Group 2 during the latter stages. LATAM rounded out the top four, demonstrating commendable skill and determination.
The MVP award went to Valentina, whose decisive goals made her the standout star of the tournament. Rivals found themselves on edge whenever she had the ball, and her brilliance was a key factor in her team’s success.
