All matches will follow the official tournament rules (8vs8), which you can find HERE 👮📜 The groups are formed randomly, from the list at registration event, using the Random Result application.
Medals are awarded to the top three teams 🥇🥈🥉 the winning team will be honored with a trophy to celebrate their victory 🏆 Additionally, the MVP, the Top Scorer, the Best GK and the four best teams will be featured in the tournament’s Hall of Fame.
For Edition XII, we were inspired by the new Champions League format for season 2024/2025. The tournament format will be as follows:
Phase 1️⃣: Group Stage
8 groups of 4 teams each compete in a round-robin. All teams advance to the next phase, with different paths based on their group rank:
Phase 2️⃣: Survival play-offs
3rd and 4th place teams, from each group, face off against teams from other groups. Winners advance to Phase 3. Matches: A3 vs B4, B3 vs C4, C3 vs D4, D3 vs E4, E3 vs F4, F3 vs G4, G3 vs H4 and H3 vs A4.
Phase 3️⃣: Challenger play-offs
Winners from Phase 2 compete against 2nd place teams from the group stage. Winners advance to Phase 4. Matches: A2 vs Winner of Phase 2, B2 vs Winner of Phase 2, C2 vs Winner of Phase 2, D2 vs Winner of Phase 2, E2 vs Winner of Phase 2, F2 vs Winner of Phase 2, G2 vs Winner of Phase 2 and H2 vs Winner of Phase 2.
Phase 4️⃣: STARTING with Round of 16
Winners from Phase 3 face the 1st place teams from the group stage. Matches: A1 vs Winner of Phase 3, B1 vs Winner of Phase 3, C1 vs Winner of Phase 3, D1 vs Winner of Phase 3, E1 vs Winner of Phase 3, F1 vs Winner of Phase 3, G1 vs Winner of Phase 3 and H1 vs Winner of Phase 3.
